Stories Along the Mississippi

Since 1932, the members of the Natchez Garden Club have produced a series of tableau to present the way of life for Natchezians in a pre-Civil War era. This year we are proud to present a new chapter in the tradition with Stories Along the Mississippi. We have updated and streamlined this year’s production to feature a completely local and volunteer cast bringing to life the folk dances, pastimes, and pageantry of Natchez history. Join us on Friday and Saturday evenings starting April 02, 2021, to see Natchez locals portray different time periods in Natchez’s history. Our 7:30 pm performances will be on April 02, 03, 09, 10,and 16 at the Natchez City Auditorium, 207 Jefferson Street.
