
The Magnolia Festival Junior Cotillion, sponsored by The Natchez Garden Club, hosts a five week program for 5th and 6th grade boys and girls during January and February on Sunday afternoons,
The 2026 season will run January 11, 18 and 25 February 1, and 8. 3:00pm-4:30pm.
This program is offered to the entire community and extending parishes and counties
The director of the program is Cheryl Rinehart. Rinehart designed and established The Natchez Junior Cotillion in 1989. She has instructed thousands of young people in the Miss-Lou area in social etiquette and ballroom dance skills. Cheryl taught high school for over twenty-five years and was co-owner of Apropos, a wedding and events service for over twenty years.








Activities include traditional ballroom instruction, social etiquette skills, (including correspondence, social media, telephone, text and other communication sources) and dining etiquette. Each session is a learning experience through proper dress attire, occasion, activity and behavior. Participants learn alongside their peers in a fun, gentle, relaxed atmosphere.
Application Information
Tuition – $150 per participant. Early bird registration through August 31, 2024 will receive a $25 discount. Space is limited so please register early to reserve your space
